Designed by Studio Nooi in 2023, the Taktil Chair is thoughtfully crafted to provide exceptional comfort, featuring soft and organic volumes that play with tactility, while addressing the specific needs of the care segment. Its soft, organic shapes and tactile design elements offer both functionality and aesthetic appeal, ensuring a supportive and pleasant seating experience.
The chair features a sturdy frame available in solid beech or oak, designed for durability and stability, with a wide, comfortable seat and an upholstered backrest. Its robust construction, reinforced with double tenons, has been tested and approved by the Danish Technological Institute, ensuring lasting quality.
The Taktil Chair is available in a version with and without armrests. The armrests are organically shaped with inviting tactile features. The armrests not only enhance comfort while seated but also provide a secure grip when standing up, making the chair especially suited for healthcare settings. The seat is made from upholstered plywood, available in either leather or textile, while the backrest comes in two versions: a fully plywood version or an upholstered version with visible plywood on the back. For added convenience, the Taktil Chair is stackable, making it ideal for efficient storage.
