Family Office Connects Business Heritage with Design History
OneCollection has furnished the investment office of a second-generation Danish family business. The overall project has been handled by Friis & Moltke Architects, who were also responsible for the renovation of the existing building.
The architecture builds on an existing, more rigid and angular structure, into which a softer interior layer is carefully inserted. Here, the family office is shaped through rounded forms that contrast the existing framework, creating a balanced dialogue between building and interior.
Among the pieces selected for the project are the Time Chair and the Classic Bookcase, contributing to a calm and refined setting that complements the architectural vision.
The connection between sustainable energy and long-term environmental investments is clear. Almost equally evident is the relationship between the family’s passion for art and the design legacy of Finn Juhl. This shared appreciation is expressed through an interior that combines iconic Finn Juhl pieces with contemporary designs from OneCollection, creating a refined setting where craftsmanship, culture, and innovation meet.
Within this architectural framework, OneCollection’s furniture is not only furnishing, but an integral part of the architectural composition – carefully selected elements that shape spatial flow, continuity, and views across the office. Crafted in oak and brass, the interior forms a precise, warm and cohesive whole, reinforcing a strong sense of connection throughout the space.
