The 7011 and 7014 Chair in Sæby Church
Sæby Church is the parish church of the market town of Sæby on the east coast of Vendsyssel. In the Middle Ages, it also served as the church for a Carmelite monastery, the buildings of which have since been demolished. The church is centrally located in the old town center, close to the coast, and its tower can be seen from a great distance. In 2020, Sæby Church was renovated by ARKINORD Arkitekter and it is furnished with the 7011 and 7014 Chairs from Onecollection.

A Church where Past and Present Meets
Inside, the church features vaulted ceilings decorated with frescoes from around 1500. It retains medieval furnishings, including a winged altarpiece, intricately carved benches from the late 1400s, and large crucifixes. Renaissance-era additions include a pulpit, a baptismal font, and epitaphs from the 1600s and early 1700s commemorating local merchants.
The architectural qualities of Sæby Church are enhanced by the choice of furnishing the space with 7011 and 7014 Chairs from the 7000 Chair Series. The two designs are nearly identical, ensuring a cohesive aesthetic inside the church, with the only difference being that the 7014 Chair features armrests. Its stackable and durable construction provides optimal support, ensuring a comfortable and secure seating experience without the risk of tipping, even when leaned upon. The frame is meticulously assembled using dowels, double tenons, and water-based glue, eliminating the need for subsequent tightening. It is manufactured at our workshop in Vejen and is available in certified solid beech or oak, upholstered in textile or leather.
