Ara Resting Chair

The Ara Resting Chair, designed with both elegance and comfort in mind, is crafted following traditional Danish craftsmanship at our workshop in Vejen. This chair, intended for the contract market, also blends well into private homes due to its inviting appearance.

The Ara is notably stable, offering substantial support and comfort, even when getting up from the chair. It remains steady during use and when leaned upon, ensuring it doesn’t tip over. The frame is mortised, doweled, and glued together, eliminating the need for retightening, and ensuring long-lasting durability. The design is simple and Nordic, featuring clean lines and minimal stitching, which also promotes hygiene.

The series is available in certified solid oak or beech and offers a range of options and customizations. The series is produced in our own workshop in Vejen.
Ara’s natural cord weave and the inclusion of an adjustable neck pillow add to its functionality and comfort.

Tested and approved for stability, safety, and durability by the Danish Technological Institute.
