Svensk Möbelfakta
Möbelfakta is a sustainability label for furniture owned by IVL and Trä- och Möbelföretagen (TMF). This label certifies that furniture and furniture series meet high-quality, environmental, and responsible supply chain standards.
The database is open and accessible for anyone to search. Möbelfakta’s board ensures the label’s content, and the Criteria Council sets criteria based on ISO 14024 standards, ensuring that products meet environmental requirements verified by an independent third party.
These criteria are continuously improved, considering a product’s entire life cycle.
The requirements of the Möbelfakta label aligns with those set by Sweden’s Procurement Authority, Municipalities and Regions, and ADDA (formerly SKL Kommentus Inköpscentral). IVL, the majority owner, guarantees Möbelfakta’s independence as a type 1 eco-labeling system.
