Our Contribution

At OneCollection, we are dedicated to making a meaningful impact in various aspects of society. Our commitment extends across three key areas, where we celebrate Danish culture, invest in our local community, and support the NGO LittleBigHelp. In each of these domains, we are actively working to create positive change and contribute to the well-being of individuals and communities, both locally and globally.

Celebrating Danish Culture

Through our presence in over 45 global markets, we celebrate and protect Finn Juhl’s significant Danish cultural heritage. We actively participate in exhibitions, publications, lectures, and events that not only showcase Finn Juhl’s work but also promote Danish design culture on a grand scale. As an exporting company, we contribute to Denmark’s economy through taxes and foreign exchange earnings. Moreover, by generating Danish employment, we play an important role in supporting our nation’s cultural heritage.

The rights to Finn Juhl’s designs are held by the Wilhelm Hansen Foundation. All royalties from the sales of Finn Juhl furniture are directed to this foundation. The Wilhelm Hansen Foundation is dedicated to fostering the performing arts, encompassing music, dance, theater, and furniture design. Every year the foundation presents the Finn Juhl Design Award. The main objective of the foundation is to support performing artists by granting awards and scholarships to individuals and projects alike. Through our royalties, we play a pivotal part in sustaining and enriching Denmark’s cultural heritage.

Continuously Supporting the NGO LittleBigHelp

We stand firmly behind the NGO LittleBigHelp, founded by Lisbeth Johansen in 2010. This organization is dedicated to improving the lives of those in India who lack access to essential human rights, healthcare, and educational opportunities.

We annually generate funds through the sales of our Council Chair Series, and by contributing furniture to auctions.

LittleBigHelp has established 10 Community Centers in slum areas, in Kolkata and Howrah, along with Boys’ and Girls’ Homes, Skill Development Centers for women, and Computer Training Projects in rural areas of Bankura, India. Additionally, LittleBigHelp supports a center for special education for 180 children. With 90 local employees in India and two in Denmark actively engaged in these efforts, they are dedicated to creating positive change in the world, one project at a time.

Our headquarters, nestled in the picturesque city of Ringkøbing on the rugged west coast of Jutland, is not merely a location; it’s a reflection of our cherished values. We are deeply involved in various local associations and activities, particularly in soccer and handball. Our engagement in these community endeavors allows us to connect with and contribute to the well-being of our team members and neighbors. We believe that a thriving local community is the cornerstone of a stronger society.
